We build beautiful
custom homes for discerning customers. We deliver quality, service,
and integrity throughout the building process. The firm is a
licensed residential building firm and licensed general contracting
firm in the state of South Carolina as well as a licensed real
estate service firm. This high level of accreditation insures your
home is handled to the utmost of standards.
Overview
Our firm enjoys the challenges found in new construction no matter
how elegantly simple or infinitely complex your home may be.
Beck Built is familiar with all aspects of basic residential
construction, concrete construction, steel, welding, and various
other techniques that are often incorporated into today’s custom
home designs. We are also familiar with energy saving building
techniques, ‘green building’ techniques etc. We are versed in many
of the building techniques used in Europe such as European style
windows, doors, radiant heat systems, and hot water heaters etc. We
are also familiar with the hurricane code to include the Dade County
Florida building code- a more stringent code than often required in
the state of South Carolina

Lot Acquisition Process
Beck Built Inc is a licensed real estate
practitioner in the state of South Carolina. We are able to assist clients with
finding the right lot to fit their needs for a home site or vision for a home
plan. The firm stays up to date on available parcels as well as exposed to
market conditions for positioning your home in a win win situation. We can often
structure your lot purchase/build with your lender under a construction loan to
save on closing costs and taxes.

We will visit your prospective lot and answer questions regarding shape, size,
ARB guidelines, building regulations, possible placement of your home, views,
pool, driveways, etc as necessary.
Design Process
We
offer design services through several local designers and architects or we’ll be
glad to build your home as already designed.
We will be happy to work with your already chosen architect or home designer to
assist in the design and planning aspects of your home to understand your needs
and how those translate from the design process to the build process as
necessary.
We love supporting the character of the South Carolina Low Country, Historic
Charleston, and the Coastal Home design vernaculars.
The owner’s extensive travels over the years have brought an appreciation for a
wide array of home designs and construction techniques. We will be happy to
assist you with getting what you want or building what you have in mind with
enthusiasm.

Construction of Your Home
We
focus on quality, integrity, and customer service throughout the building

We keep a detailed construction schedule based on your home, with trigger points
for we the builder and you the customer. We manage the trades and keep a tight
handle on quality throughout the construction of your home.

The basic process flow of the actual construction process, after all permits,
design reviews, etc. is as follows:
Selections Process:
Beck Built will assist you in making selections for your project
as needed. We are glad to assist with shopping for cabinets or plumbing
fixtures, lighting, appliances, etc. or explaining the fitment of such in
correlation to your plans and the construction schedule. We will also be glad to
set you up with interior design or home furnishings assistance as necessary. We
provide you an upfront selections schedule to correlate with the building
process!
Potential Construction Opportunities:
The most frequent cause of delays is usually weather,
specifically rain or other poor conditions. Occasionally local government
approvals, utility availability, construction backlogs, delay in the lot
acquisition process, the lot preparation process, or the developer’s delivery of
lots, availability of materials and contractors, changes requested by the
homebuyer, plus the time for independent inspections can cause schedule
adjustments. These are naturally occurring parts of the detailed construction
process that we project for and manage with you and all involved as effectively
and efficiently as possible throughout the building of your beautiful home.

In addition to building beautiful custom homes, Beck Built is a
complete construction services and development services firm. We offer
construction management services for developers: We can assist in or manage the
build out of entire communities, including home design, marketing, sales, and
construction management as well as land development aspects as necessary.
On top of custom homebuilding experience, the owner of Beck
Built has production homebuilding experience and expertise in all of the above
areas as well as licensure, accreditation, insurance, etc and a resume of
business & management skills to assist in your project (see about the owner

Commercial Construction/Multi Family:
We are licensed in the state of South Carolina to perform
commercial construction work & multi-family construction for your project,
development, community, etc.
Remodeling, Additions, & Legal Abatement:
Beck Built is happy to engage in additions, remodels, renovation
work that is pre-determined in scope and scale. We will also
assess and engage multi-family repair work, to include post
legal abatement work, on a cost plus basis.
Consulting
